We are seeking a proactive and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team.
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, Class 1 driver is responsible to driver a manual dump truck and semi truck on construction sites and city roads safely. Due to changing schedules, we require the driver to have flexible schedules.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to drive dump trucks and semi-trucks safely
• Properly inspect trucks, maintenance, and report any accidents, injuries, mechanical faults, and up and coming services to management.
• Fill out trip books (properly)
• Must be proficient with speaking and writing the English language
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Knowledge of Lower Mainland
• Secure walking floor trailer or roll off bins as per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.
• Perform vehicles inspections daily, as well as checking fuel, oil, and other fluid levels. Replenishing fluid levels when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager or management team.
• Complying with all safety rules and regulations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Exceptional communication, management, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a divers abstract and provide a valid class 1 license.
• Proven experience operating a standard dump truck.
• Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, customer service and communication skills
