Duties

Safely operate trucks for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and issues Assist with automotive repairs or minor maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle reliability and safety Operate heavy equipment when required for loading, unloading, or yard work Follow all company policies related to safety, hours of service, and cargo security

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for routine vehicle maintenance Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as needed Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment
