Job Description

We are looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as a full-time Class 1 Driver on a full-time basis.

In this role as a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for driving specific routes from our Lower Mainland, BC locations to various locations in the Seattle, WA area and back. Most loads are preloaded, and you are required to ensure paperwork is in proper order, signed, and that all freight is accounted for. Any discrepancies or issues must be reported to the proper management teams as soon as it is safe to do so.

Safety is of paramount importance, and it is required you follow all proper procedures and policies in accordance with the laws and regulations of provincial, state, and federal governing bodies as they apply to both industry and company standards.

Job Summary:

Linehaul Driving to and from the Lower Mainland to various locations in Washington State

Pre-trip and Post Trip inspections on Trailers and Tractors

Report any discrepancies or concerns as they arise with loads or the vehicles you are driving

Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

Shift Times:

Usually shifts are 4 times a week from 3:00 pm-1:00 am, between Monday to Friday

Based on the volume and type of work, shifts may be on weekends and start/end times of shifts may vary.

Required Qualifications:

Current Clean driver's abstract

Current Class 1 driver's license

Valid Passport

Fast Card not required but considered an asset

Ability to pass compliance tests for Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Secured Goods, and Hazardous Materials Transportation

Ability to pass criminal record check

Ability to pass drug test

Good organizational and time management skills

Good communication skills

Steel-toed boots

Compensation:

Flat Fee Compensation per Trip

Annual Earnings are expected to be approximately $83,000
