Class 1 Driver - $29.87 per hour
This position is domiciled in Regina, SK and requires the candidate to layover weekly in Calgary, AB for one evening per week in order to be loaded with their weekly deliveries for the Regina market. The driver will perform deliveries and pick-ups along this route, as well as those in Regina and surrounding areas. Route details are subject to future change however this route is historically 40 hours per week (plus overtime) across four working days, offering candidates an attractive work/life balance.
Position Responsibilities:

• To complete daily routes as assigned in a safe and productive manner.
• Rotate customer\xe2\x80\x99s stock purchased from Dawn Food Products and provide courteous, professional service to all our customers.
• Maintain proper paperwork according to D.O.T. guidelines and Dawn Food Products procedures.
• Accurately delivery all product minimizing damage and invoice error ratio.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the teams from customer service, sales and warehouse.
• Additional responsibilities may include but not limited to delivery of product via carry in, two-wheeler and power walker. The proper handling of cash and/or check payments from customers. Vendor pick up for product replenishment.
  

Position Requirements. Experience: Maintain a current Class 1 license with a minimum of 6 months experience and a clear driving record. Additional Skills: Possess the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Have the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Must be able to apply coommon sense understanding to carry out instructions or given direction.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Team members must have the ability to move or lift product from 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Must comply with IFS.
