Driver/Merchandiser

Position Status: Full Time, Permanent

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Management team of PBD, the Driver/Merchandiser is primarily responsible for the delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts, stocking, merchandising, filling coolers, and rotating product. Overnight travel and overtime are required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Check accuracy, stability of the load at the start of the day, and check in and unload at the end of the day; Deliver products to customer; stocking shelves; Manage product in customer premises, rotating inventory by date code in order to limit returns of outdated stock; Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards; Responsible for meeting productivity requirements; Maintaining and cleaning assigned delivery vehicle to ensure it properly represents PBD in the trade; Ex, washing the outside and cleaning the inside of the cab, sweeping out trailers. Other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Commercial license with air (Class 1) with a clean driver's abstract

(REQUIRED)

1+ years of commercial driving experience needed Local delivery experience preferred
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60lbs

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must be customer service orientated The ability to work with minimal supervision

Due to expansion, we are seeking class 1 driver(s); this is a full-time permanent position with an attractive benefit package. The wage for this position will depend on experience. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
