We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary.

Duties
Operate trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including automotive repair tasks as needed.
Operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials when required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required with minimum 2 year experience
A positive CAN-DO attitude
Truck must be able to pull triaxle trailers
Mountain driving experience required
Willing to run up to 70 hours
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
Ability to handle freight efficiently and safely.
Experience and comfortable running highway 3 in BC
Willing to run up to 70 hours
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to company policies regarding safety and compliance.
