Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport fluid across various routes. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with skills in fluid hauling are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Assist with warehouse duties such as organizing freight, inventory management, and equipment operation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
