About the job :

- Hourly pay : $28.31 + $1 per hour premium for hauling flat deck

About the position:

The Class 1 Driver is responsible for Hauling daily freight from Edmonton distribution center to Fort McMurray Oilsands customer.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Dispatching time: between 11:30 pm and 3:30 am. Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

One (1) year or more experience in a driving position.

Flatbed experience is preferred.

Valid Class 1 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.

Able to drive Manual Transmission truck.

Highly thorough and dependable.

Punctuality and good attendance record.

Work using health and safety methods.

Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
