Job Description

West Coast Car Carriers is growing and seeking experienced class 1 driver professionals for both local and long haul transportation services.

Based out of the Fraser Valley, we specialize in hauling classics, sports, muscle and exotic cars. We also haul non-running project cars, trucks and SUVs. We transport within Canada and runs would include various locations from British Columbia to Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Safely drive and deliver vehicles in enclosed or open carrier trailers to various destinations

- Complete deliveries in a timely and safe manner

- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Provide excellent customer service during client interactions

-Safely load and unload client vehicles and effectively secure vehicles to trailer for transport

Requirements:

- Valid class 1 license required

- 5 years minimum driving experience with a clean driving record

- No criminal record

- Proven experience driving in mountain conditions, including driving in snow and chaining up

- Legal to work in Canada

- Speak, read and write in clear English

- Knowledge of billing of lading, logbooks, conducting pre-trips

- Must be willing to do occasional long hauls which would include going as far as Nova Scotia

In addition to the above requirements, we are seeking a professional who is a car enthusiast and has a true passion and knowledge of cars

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a similar role. This would include experience in car hauling, securing vehicles for transport

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
