Job Description
Overview
We are a family-owned company seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven experience hauling equipment and is a team player who is willing to support ground crews when not driving.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive Tandem dump trucks to transport equipment and Materials. Haul heavy equipment to site using a variety of air brake or Electric trailers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and crew leads. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License required. Proven experience in Construction/commercial driving. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques considered an asset. Experience operating skid steers and heavy equipment considered an asset. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to lift minimum 50lbs
