Barjac Construction Management is seeking skilled Class 1 driver with Heavy Equipment Operating to join our team. The Class 1 with Heavy Equipment Operator experience position are for commercial projects located within the City of Calgary and the surrounding area. Barjac is a year-round employer with an emphasis on the summer construction season. Work is based on a 44-hour work week, but overtime and weekends are customary. Our project scope includes deep services, site grading, foundation excavation, parking lot prep, building equipment installations, building undergrounds, slab prep And hauling material onsite and to sites all over the city.



Responsibilities include:


Class 1 required (valid)

Knowledge of the City

Ability to take direction from other teammates.

Clean driving record (Current drivers abstract within the month)

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Assist ground crews when required.

Work and follow instructions given by crew foreman and superintendents.

Work together as a team to accomplish the project goals.

Work within the safety parameters as outlined in the company health and safety manual.

5yrs experience required

Heavy equipment operating an asset

Able to travel to various sites in and around Calgary. Daily maintenance required


Experience:


Experience performing the tasks pertaining to our scope of work.

Safety training is an asset.
