Job Description

Our client is seeking a Clamp Driver(propane lift truck) to join their team. As a Clamp driver, you will be part of the receiving department supporting their operations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months of experience with clamp forklifts to align successfully in the organization.Job Title: OperatorLocation: MississaugaPay Range: $18.50/ hour plus 4% vacation payWhat\xe2\x80\x99s the Job?

• Operate forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, which includes pre and post shift inspection of vehicle and reporting of any maintenance requirements or issues with the equipment.
• Receive and unload inbound shipments, and safely move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store products in appropriate areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Maintain the facility\xe2\x80\x99s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
• Work with team members to ensure appropriate records and reports are completed to guarantee tight inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories when required.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with all safety requirements and standards under OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

What\xe2\x80\x99s Needed?

• Previous experience working in shipping/receiving;
• Valid forklift certification with a minimum 6 months prior experience driving a clamp forklift in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment;
• Able to work12 pm - 8:30 pm shift
• Proficient at reading, writing, and speaking English.
