As a Claims Technician you will support the claims department in and administrative capacity. You will work closely with all team members to ensure proper and accurate claims handling.

A day in the life-

Update and maintain Claim Bordereaus/Spreadsheets

Manage Claim Loss Funds

Update and Maintain Claims in Lloyds Lineage System

Set up new claims in files, on Bordereaus and in Lloyds Lineage system

Request payments and Reconcile General Ledgers

Proper and accurate filing

Other duties as assigned

What you will bring to our team-

CIP designation, or working towards will be considered an asset

Ability to recognize and maintain the confidentiality of work materials

Willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects, as needed

Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PPT) and Outlook.

Ease in adapting to changing priorities

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused and evolving work environment

A positive attitude and energetic personality are essential

High level of motivation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent professional presence

Ability to juggle multiple assignments, prioritize, and follow-up

Ability to work independently, but also partner as a team player

Operate with the highest level of integrity and professionalism at all times

Highly organized with attention to detail
