Greater Toronto Adjusters Inc. ("GTA"), conveniently located in Burlington, is seeking a full-time, in-person, office professional that can help with the administration of claims and provide support on files.GTA is an established insurance adjusting firm providing adjusting services to Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. In the business for almost three decades, GTA is a growing, busy and a dynamic boutique firm seeking an ambitious, studious claims & medical experienced full-time administration & claims support assistant. The successful candidate will be professional and detail-oriented.Responsibilities:
  • Processing creation & support of claims
  • Typing file support documents & creating reports
  • Review file damage material & compose results
  • Organizing and maintaining files
  • Utilize file support software & assist with office duties
  • Additional administrative duties as required
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills;
  • Education/Experience in Insurance Institute courses & office/claims file development;
  • Strong administrative and organization background with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, schedule, and execute tasks with strong attention to detail, strong time management, and organization with guidance & supervision;
  • Effective problem-solving skills with no hesitancy to ask when unsure of the situation;
  • Positive and team player disposition;
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and comfortable learning & using technology in general; and
  • Typing speed sufficient to develop written products efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $35,000.00-$48,000.00 per yearBenefits:
