Reporting into Aviva Canada's Senior Manager, Claims Communications and Sustainability, you will have a meaningful role as a trusted Claims Communications Specialist.
What you'll do:Assist in the development and delivery of Claims department communications strategies, tools and materials that support the goals and objectives of the department and wider organization Collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders across Claims to develop and deliver the Claims Engagement strategy Develop targeted communications across Claims that allow for interactivity, engaging and multi-media content and provides robust metrics around employee interaction with the channel (opens, clicks, impressions, etc.) Build and align the Claims editorial calendar with both interpersonal and team priorities Plan and execute Claims Town Hall and Leadership conferences, including securing venues and hosts/guests, preparing engaging content, briefing hosts and guests and working with venue staff (e.g., media companies) Work with the team to set up and run the equipment during online and live events Analyze and provide insight on effectiveness of communications strategies Manage digital channels; develop conversion/growth strategies

What you'll bring:Completed undergraduate or advanced college diploma in journalism, communications or public relations At least three years in a corporate environment/PR agency, preferably in insurance, professional services or banking Experience writing, proofreading and editing across a variety of platforms (bilingual is an asset) Ability to develop internal communications strategies and implementing tactics to help maintain and strengthen company culture Skill/tact in dealing with people at all levels of the organization Ability to work as a standout colleague in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience with video editing software (e.g., Camtasia, Premiere, ClipChamp) and design platforms (e.g., Adobe Express, Canva) Experience with communications platforms (e.g., Workvivo, Poppulo, MS Teams/Teams Town Hall) Proven ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency Can work well under pressure and can effectively and expertly handle tough issues in a complex, matrix organization Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with professionals at all levels within the organization Keen to learn, grow and develop both personally and professionally The abilities to laugh at yourself, have fun and adapt to different situations are necessary
