OverviewAs the Claims Advocate, you will be a part of the Western Region Claims Team, providing Gallagher clients with outstanding claims service and advocacy, maintaining and exceeding the service standards of the GGB Gallagher Claims Division.Work Environment Hybrid (Agile) We at Gallagher enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.
How you'll make an impact

• Intake of Commercial and Personal Lines clients new claims and reporting to the insurance company
• Provide Claims assistance as required to the insureds in a professional and compassionate manner
• Communication with adjusters and insureds with respect to open claims
• Liaison between insured and insurance carrier during settlement negotiations when required
• Advocacy on claims on clients behalf with insurers as necessary
• Data input using EPIC and DMS system
• Maintain, organize and update client files, including Word summaries and Excel spreadsheets
• Attend company sponsored seminars and educational activities needed to maintain product knowledge and expertise, and participate in projects at managements request

• Minimum 5 years insurance and/or Claims experience required
• Alberta, Manitoba and BC broker licenses or ability to acquire within 3 months
• CAIB, CIP designations an asset or courses completed towards designations
• Client service and/or advocacy experience an asset
• Completion of post-secondary education an asset
• Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
