Daily, you will: \xc2\xb7 Design steel and concrete structures, mainly in heavy industry. \xc2\xb7 Supervise the production of drawings, and sign and seal them. \xc2\xb7 Produce calculation notes, technical documents, and drawings. \xc2\xb7 Conduct technical studies. \xc2\xb7 Participate in defining projects and developing concepts in collaboration with the client and other disciplines. \xc2\xb7 Participate in design reviews. \xc2\xb7 Model structures with SAP2000 or SAFI. \xc2\xb7 Prepare project cost estimates. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate projects with other disciplines. \xc2\xb7 Ensure the feasibility/constructability of projects. \xc2\xb7 Provide technical support for the completion of field work. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor of Civil Engineering \xc2\xb7 Member of the Professional order of Engineers of the province (APEGNB) \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of experience in structures (preferably in the industrial field). You are the person we are looking for if the following describes you: \xc2\xb7 Experience in consulting engineering and/or heavy industry \xc2\xb7 Ability to follow several projects simultaneously \xc2\xb7 Aptitude for teamwork \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to quickly converge on the solution to a problem \xc2\xb7 Practical approach with a focus on constructability in the technical solutions proposed Available office: St-John (NB) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
