Job Description

Oversby is a Civil Surveying company based out of Fort St John, BC. We are a small, family owned business focused on providing quality surveying and design services to our clients in the Civil and Energy Industries. Currently we are seeking a Civil Tech - Surveyor to help with projects in the Fort St. John area.

Responsibilities

:

perform field surveys, including construction staking, grading, topographic, design, & volume surveys

communicate with the client regarding scopes of work and anticipating their survey requirements

accurately record measurements and other data, prepare field notes, perform quality control for survey work

Requirements,

As the successful candidate you

:

have 3+ years' experience in Construction Surveying

are able to work with minimal supervision

are able to pass routine drug and alcohol testing

have experience using RTK GPS

have experience working around heavy equipment

have experience in field surveys

have knowledge in heavy construction procedures and techniques

have a valid driver's license and clean abstract

are able to work in a fast paced industrial construction environment

have a willingness to exceed client expectations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
