Job Title: Civil Superintendent

Location: Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada

: We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent with experienced in all aspects of Civil construction to oversee and manage construction projects primarily in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. As a Civil Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Civil Foreman, ensuring that all project activities are carried out efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the construction project on Multiple job sites. Report Directly to the Project Managers. Supervision and coordination of the of Civil Foreman , ensuring that they adhere to safety standards, quality standards, and project specifications. Manage construction materials and equipment, ensuring that they are utilized effectively and efficiently. Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients. Resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project. Maintain good communication and working relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders. Train, mentor and coach workers to enhance their skills and productivity. Ensure that all project activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role . Operating experience an asset. Pipelaying experience is required. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Mid level experience with computer programs such as Excel, Bluebeam , and email is required. Valid driver's license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.19-$44.41 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
