Job Description
*This position is based out of South Okanagan, BC (Peachland to Osoyoos). Okanagan Civil Constructors is one of South Okanagan\'s newest and most highly respected civil construction companies. We are currently seeking experienced applicants for a civil construction pipelayer position. The position entails laying pipe for a civil construction crew on various sites around the South Okanagan Pipelayer Responsibilities include:
- Completing all tasks safely.
- The knowledge to interpret drawings, MMCD and supplementary specifications.
- The ability to install all different sizes & types of pipe, manholes, catch basins, lawn basins, and other pre-cast structures, the ability to install Hydro, Tel & Shaw duct.
- Coordinating with the Grademan, Equipment Operator, and Topman.
- Complete understanding of typical industry-standard safe working procedures, especially around trenches and heavy equipment.
- Someone who thrives being in a production-driven environment while staying friendly, professional, and a clear communicator.
- Attention to detail and the desire to provide high-quality workmanship, right the first time.
- Understanding of MMCD, supplementary specifications and typical civil testing requirements.

- At least 1 year experience as a civil pipe layer
