Civil Construction Operator

Job Description
*This position is based out of South Okanagan, BC *
Okanagan Civil Constructors is one of South Okanagan's newest and most highly respected civil construction companies. We are currently seeking experienced applicants for civil construction operator positions to run excavators (470, 345, 245) and dozers (D6-D8).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of sizes of machines
- Daily maintenance of machine
- Perform daily safety checks before operation and after
- Take preventative measures regarding machine systems
- Take directions from ground crew
- Knowledge on reading plans and knowing grades/elevations
- Follow SWP for special operations
- General bulk out, Loading trucks
- Work in tight areas
- Machine Grade Control
- Minimum 3 years running equipment with experience in mainlining & digging around utilities.

- French not required
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Overtime pay
