Responsibilities

As the Civil Foreman you will be coordinating and directing the employees and subcontractors on the project You will have to ensure materials and trades are on site and perform work in the correct way You will make sure the project is completed efficiently and effectively, and make sure all deliveries are complete to what is ordered You will perform daily and weekly meetings and inspections of the project Safety is important during any project, so you will ensure all site personnel are working within the government safe work procedures As the Foreman, as well as working with the trades you will also be asked to complete any documentation, from reports, work orders, emails and keep all the various people who need to be coordinated in on these documents, in the know Conduct and attend all staff meetings

Skills

Minimum of 5 years experience in water main and sewer pipe instillation Have strong math skills with the ability to calculate grades, slopes, etc Knowledge of layout and scale drawings including the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Ability to clearly communicate the best course of action to a large crews and subtrades Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining project quality, schedule and budget
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
