The Opportunity
McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to expand our strong Civil Engineering presence in Kelowna, BC. In this role, you will lead projects in the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure and land development. You'll oversee project delivery from concept through construction, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff. This position is ideal for someone ready to step into a key role with opportunities for leadership advancement.

What You'll Do
Assist the Branch Manager and Division Manager in business development activities for civil engineering projects and cross-sell a host of other services that McElhanney provides.
Lead the proposal, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects including municipal infrastructure and land development.
Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, and quality assurance.
Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and subconsultants.
Provide technical mentorship and support to EITs and junior engineers.
Ensure projects comply with all applicable codes, standards, and guidelines.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Registered P.Eng. with EGBC or eligible for registration in BC.
6-12 years of progressive civil engineering experience, primarily in consulting.
Proven ability to attract/retain clients, win projects, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Familiar with MMCD specifications and procurement, and registration as a Certified Contract Administrator (CCA) is an asset.
Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of successful delivery.
Strong leadership, learning mindset, knowledge sharing, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with government, contractors, and developers is an asset.
Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure design, construction, and permitting.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
What Can We Offer You?
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual's education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
