Civil Engineer

to join our growing team in

. This position is ideal for an engineering professional who is passionate about designing, managing, and executing construction projects with precision, safety, and sustainability in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to develop project layouts and designs. Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications. Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and government officials to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site inspections, identify issues, and implement timely solutions. Estimate project costs and prepare budgets, schedules, and progress reports. Ensure all construction activities meet local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction or real estate development. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in Canada. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Valid engineering certification or license in British Columbia is a plus.
