Civil Engineer- Entry Level- North Vancouver Are you passionate about heavy civil and marine construction? As a member of our engineering team, you will be an integral part of our growth and development. You will help us continue to be a major player in the marine construction industry by contributing to the growth of new markets and developing innovative construction techniques. You will work closely with our estimating team to develop various types of estimates, from conceptual estimates for proposals to detailed estimates for projects. You will also review tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, and assist in maintaining files of working documents. In addition to office duties, you will also participate in the management of construction work programs and ensure accuracy and adherence to plans, designs, and specifications of the project. You will prepare progress reports, manage procurement and logistics of projects, identify and advise the project manager promptly of any issues, and verify that all completed work conforms with applicable codes and project specifications. We are looking for a civil engineering graduate who is interested in pursuing a career in heavy civil and/or marine construction. You should have knowledge of cost control, estimating, and planning techniques and be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite. You should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a driver\'s license with access to a vehicle is an asset.
