GRIT Engineering Inc. provides professional consulting services in site plan development, land development, municipal review, and geotechnical engineering. This firm is in its formative years and we are looking for a technician or technologist who is driven to succeed and looking for advancement opportunities as the firm grows. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and preparation of engineering design drawings, surveying, and construction inspection for a variety of development projects. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using design drafting software, including but not limited to, AutoCAD and AutoCad Civil 3D \xc2\xb7 Prepare design calculations for sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain and stormwater management, \xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation of technical letters, functional servicing and stormwater management reports \xc2\xb7 Complete onsite field work including field reviews and inspections \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Civil Engineering Technology graduate. Eligible for or obtained OACETT designation an asset. \xc2\xb7 Experience and aptitude to work with the following software packages: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Civil 3D. \xc2\xb7 Possess strong organizational, oral, written communication, and problem-solving skills; have an approachable enthusiastic interpersonal style. \xc2\xb7 Possess a valid driver\'s license.
