Position Scope:

NACG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented scheduler to support project scheduling and controls for a major civil construction project in the Fort McMurray area. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong experience in construction management, scheduling, and project analytics. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedule using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project milestones and overall timelines. Collaborate with project managers and field teams to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts. Implement and oversee project control systems to track progress, costs, and resource allocation. Monitor variances and propose corrective actions to maintain project efficiency. Assist in resource loading for materials, labor, and equipment. Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and project optimization. Generate reports on project performance, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency.



Qualifications:

Work Experience:

+ 3-5 years of experience related to scheduling, project analytics and controls on civil construction projects. + Extensive knowledge of Primavera.
+ Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to emerging and changing priorities.
+ Strong understanding of the complexities involved in scheduling earthworks activities on large-scale construction projects.
