About the Job: Tridon is looking to expand their crew(s) in Shallow Utility Civil Construction. I.E.- HDD, locating, equipment knowledge. Looking for an individual that has a strong work ethic, honest, and hard working, is comfortable around industrial equipment, driving and towing vehicles. About You The ideal person will have experience in and industrial environment. You will possess some telecommunications education or experience. You will have good analytical, problem solving, trouble shooting and mechanical skills. You will have a safety-first attitude, and not afraid of hard work. We want someone that is looking to grow a career in the shallow utility field and civil construction. Must Haves:
Safety First Mindset
Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator\xe2\x80\x99s License or equivalent (recent 5- year Commercial Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract will be required upon condition of employment).
If required, the ability to pass a pre access drug and alcohol test and maintain the ability to pass subsequent pre access testing for site access
Transportation to and from office/shop
Experience working in and around equipment.
Ability to grasp new techniques, and deal with rapidly changing events
Ability to work safely in hazardous environments
Knowledge and skill of tools, equipment, and materials and practices of the trade
Fluent in English written and verbal communications
Team Player
Assets include:
Industrial setting
Valid Safety Tickets are considered an asset.
Communications experience of 1 year or more is an asset.
