Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to lead our construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency in the Fraser Valley. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As a Construction Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Utilize construction management software such as Workforce to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with team members. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to guide construction activities, as well knowledge with City standards/MMCD standards Assist in budgeting by estimating costs for materials, labor, and equipment for various projects. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and promote a collaborative work environment. Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports on work completed. Read and follow proper Grade elevations

Skills

Strong proficiency in quality control practices within the construction industry. Proven experience in supervising teams effectively to achieve project goals. Familiarity with Topcon GPS software, for project management and documentation. Ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Expertise in budgeting processes related to construction projects. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate implementation of plans. Experience in construction estimating to aid in project planning and execution. Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and feedback among team members. Experience in pipe-laying; storm and sanitary systems , and water. knowledge of grades, and use a rotating laser/pipe laser , and auto-lights
