Civil Construction Estimator / Project Manager

to join our team.

Summary

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the

technical and business sides

of construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in estimating, project management, and business development -- working closely with another estimator and company leadership to secure and deliver projects efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new civil construction opportunities and tenders. Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil, excavation, and infrastructure projects. Collaborate with management and the estimating team to review bids and proposals. Manage awarded projects from start to finish -- including budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination. Communicate with clients, engineers, and field teams to ensure project success. Track project progress, costs, and profitability. Promote Grizzly Excavating's values of integrity, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating and/or project management. Strong understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and tendering processes. Proven ability to build relationships and bring in new business. Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
