Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of freight operations, commercial driving regulations, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. This position requires a commitment to safety and professionalism while on the road.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents or delays. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on trucks. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, dispatchers, and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while on the road. Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
