This role involves operating commercial vehicles to deliver freight, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform basic maintenance and automotive repairs on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.

Requirements

Apply only if you can relocate to Victoria . Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Minimum 1 year Class 1 Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform minor automotive repairs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
