Job Summary
Work as part of our dynamic team to dispatch our city fleet of 5tons and Tractors to service approximately 500 daily pick ups and 500 daily deliveries. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Essential Functions:

• Route drivers to maintain service levels on deliveries and pick ups

• Use in house software to manifest, track or update status on shipments

• Keep customers informed regarding details of their shipments

• Maintain and update equipment inventory lists

• Prepare documents for inbound and outbound movements

What a successful candidate will bring:

• Professional attitude in all interactions when on shift
• Basic geographical knowledge of Whitehorse and its surroundings
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word programs
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Available to work full time Monday-Friday
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $27.00-$29.00
• Comprehensive benefits package available after successful completion of probationary period including extended medical, prescription, vision and dental coverage and RSP company matching program
