Job Title: Apptad - Citrix Windows Desktop Engineer
Job Location: Local to Montreal,QC- Hybrid
Job Duration: Long-Term
Responsibilities
o??Handle day-to-day incidents and requests arising in Desktop and Remote Access environments within SLA
o??Manage and complete assigned projects
o??Provide status reports on managed system
o??Work with end users and IT staff to analyze and resolve problems escalated by the Service Desk.
o??Must be willing to handle varying shifts - primarily night shift.
o??Provide support of Citrix remote access environment including off-hours maintenance
o??Manage Active Directory settings as they apply to the systems managed by the department
o??Support distribution of software using Altiris
o??Support patching of workstations, desktops and virtual workstations.
o??Support file and print services for end users
o??Support building cameras and management systems in several US sites
o??Support Appsense environment for workstations and Citrix
o??Support Antivirus and DLP systems
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
o??Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
o??Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
o??Ability to effectively interact with end users and IT staff in implementation of new functionality and solving problems
o??Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o??Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned
o??Experience with batch scripting, VB and PowerShell as it relates to software implementation and workstation management
o??Experience supporting Citrix XenApp 6.5, 7.15 or higher
o??3 to 4 years' experience supporting in Windows 10 and it's components:
o??Registry
o??Bit locker
o??Dot Net
o??MSI Installations
o??Experience with Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016
o??Support File and print services on Windows 2012 & 2016 Servers
o??Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned
o??Ability to update and support Symantec Endpoint Protection, Lumens ion and Appsense
o??Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred.
o??Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), integration across Incident, Problem & Change (IPC) Management.
o??Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
o??Technical and system expertise in relevant IT workstreams.
o??Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o??Advanced troubleshooting, including the ability to delve in more complex issues, which require a deeper understanding of systems and applications.
o??Specialized knowledge in specific areas allowing them to tackle intricate problems.
o??Collaboration with L1 Support to provide guidance and share insights for ongoing issue resolution.
o??Strong problem-resolving abilities, communication skills (written and verbal), time administration and management, and the team partnership and collaboration.
o??Escalation to L3 Support in timely manner when challenges require an even higher level of expertise and/or experience.
o??Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders in implementation of new functionality and solving problems.
o??Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
o??Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
Experience:
o??Four to five years (4-5) of relevant experience.

Pay: $42.00-$43.00 per hour
