Circuit Rider Trainer

Employment Opportunity

The Meadow Lake Tribal Council in the Technical Services Department, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time permanent position of a Circuit Rider Trainer. The Circuit Rider Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water treatment facilities within the MLTC communities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Provide technical guidance and support to water treatment facilities within the MLTC geographic area.

Stay up to date with relevant regulations governing water treatment. Assist facilities in maintaining compliance with these regulations, including water quality standards, monitoring, and reporting requirements.

Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of water treatment facilities' infrastructure, equipment, and processes.

Collect and analyze data related to water treatment processes, water quality, and operational performance.

Foster positive relationships with water treatment operators, and stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of site visits, technical recommendations, and training activities.

Qualifications:

Water resources management, or a related field with three years experience in water treatment operations or related roles.

Professional certification in water treatment or relevant field is a plus. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel frequently, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
