There is a requirement for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead Hand Back up.
The
CI Lead Hand
will support Eden Valley Poultry's Operational Excellence Pillar as part of our Strategic Framework. The CI Lead will monitor, coordinate and actively participate in CI projects and initiatives for analyzing processes, implementing improvements, and driving operational excellence.
Job Duties:
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Actively participate in timing requirements to validate data.
Teach and coach continuous improvement thinking.
Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
Adhere to health and safety, food safety and organizational standards.
Lead the creation and routine support of the CI Leadership team and the annual planning process.
Facilitate problem solving methods (e.g.: Mapping, Kaizen, etc....)
Responsible for the improvement of events and activities (data collection, problem solving, solution development, testing and learning).
Requirements:
Previous Eden Valley Poultry production/sanitation experience.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate logically ordered objectives.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to multitask and optimize available time to the required tasks.
Ability to think or process information logically in terms of consequences to actions or decisions or follow a chain of events.
