Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Chocolate Maker/Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of food safety practices and experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
This role involves making and packaging high-quality chocolate products under the supervision of our chef, while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Dishwashing and cleaning is also part of the position.
Duties
Operate machinery and equipment used in the chocolate-making process, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Package finished chocolates efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to comply with food safety regulations. Dishwashing and cleaning are required to clean the space during and after production.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry is required. Familiarity with food safety protocols and basic math/logic skills are required. Demonstrating strong attention to detail. A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing production needs is important.
This position pays base plus commission (employees earn an average of $23 per hour when they perform well consistently).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
