Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the food industry. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a kitchen environment while developing essential skills in food preparation, baking, and customer service. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced staff to learn the ins and outs of our operations, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Assist in Chocolate tasks including production, packing, and assembling under the guidance of experienced chefs. Learn and practice baking techniques, including cake decorating and pastry preparation. Participate in packaging finished products for sale while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure a safe working environment. Work as a part of a dynamic team to create high quality products. Support kitchen staff during busy periods by taking on additional tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Skills in baking or cake decorating are advantageous for this role. A passion for the food industry and a desire to grow within this field are essential qualities for success as an Apprentice. Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
