We are a busy, family-oriented chiropractic clinic in St. Albert looking for a confident and reliable individual to join our team as a
Casual Office Assistant
. In this role, you'll be a key part of our front desk team, providing outstanding customer service to our patients and strong administrative support to our chiropractor, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and office manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing insurance companies and patient accounts
Collecting and processing payments
Scheduling appointments and optimizing practitioner calendars
Managing and organizing patient files
Answering phones and email inquiries; addressing patient questions or concerns
Cleaning and preparing chiropractic treatment rooms
Performing daily end-of-day cleaning duties
Schedule:
The successful candidate will begin training throughout the summer to become familiar with our clinic operations. Starting in September, the regular hours will be:
Thursdays:
3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturdays:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Additional hours may be available to cover shifts as needed.
This position is ideal for a
full-time student
seeking part-time hours with a consistent, flexible schedule.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with insurance billing and reconciliation is an asset
Minimum 1 year of customer service or front desk/reception experience preferred
Friendly, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
