We are seeking a bright, detailed oriented, enthusiastic mature person to work as a receptionist/assistant at our chiropractic office. An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills are required. Must be highly organized and possess exceptional multitasking skills which include accounting. Providing excellent patient care, with integrity, professionalism and commitment. Respectful of all ethical considerations including strict confidentiality.
Computer skills are necessary and being familiar with patient management software is an asset. Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and be able to work well with others. Possess strong leadership qualities, time management and problem solving ability. Understanding of chiropractic care is a plus, but not necessary.
Must be available to work as early as 7:30am and as late as 6:30pm. Salary depends upon qualifications and experience.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Managing 2 chiropractors and 2 massage therapist team with appointment schedule management including: scheduling, rescheduling and confirmations;
Directing patients into treatment rooms and controlling patient flow; cleaning and restocking patient rooms;
Collecting proper patient information for inputting into electronic records system (PMP), organization and completeness of patient files;
Processing payments, collecting on outstanding accounts and reconciling daily deposits;
Updating, filing and ordering office supplies;
Sorting mail, emailing and faxing;
Knowledge of WSIB claims, and MVA billing;
Processing online insurance such as Green Shield and TELUS health portal;
Writing up medical letters and generating reports for external sources.
