History of Nostos Chiropractic
People in pain, discomfort or who experience limited physical function often feel lost in their personal care and the system that is purported to serve them. They don't feel listened to, and their questions are dismissed or go unanswered. The landscape feels devoid of options, and they are looking for consistency and familiarity - and practitioners they can trust.
We want to change all of that. At Nostos, the needs and goals of our patients are valued most. We serve them by working collaboratively and comprehensively to ensure they get the best possible results.
Our integrated health team currently consists of chiropractors, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, massage therapists, and a CA team dedicated to helping our patients get the best results!
What does the Chiropractic Assistant (CA) role entail?
The CA's at our clinic are heavily involved with the patient experience. This includes how people are greeted upon entering our space, the ease of which we can get them into the treatment rooms and checked out at the end of their visit.
CA's are responsible for helping the doctors by preparing for the day, contacting patients, managing the clinic schedule, taking phone calls and responding to emails, and helping with basic examination procedures.
Once per week the CA team and the chiropractors hold a meeting where we review the previous week, discuss challenges, implement new procedural changes, and do group training.
We regularly host special events at our office, and our CA team is key in bringing these events to life.
Training:
Paid, on the job training will be provided.
Hours:
Saturday's 9:00am-3:30pm, + occasional events, team meetings, and sick/vacation coverage when available.
Salary:
Starting between $17-19.0/hour, based on experience
Paid every two weeks
Qualifications:
Customer service experience
Comfort using new computer systems
Strong grammar skills for written communication
Comfortable speaking on the phone
Confident presenter
Comfort around dogs
Willingness to learn and bring an enthusiastic attitude to team training
History with chiropractic is an asset
History with kinesiology and working with the body is an asset
