Chiropodist/Podiatrist
to join our dynamic healthcare team. As part of

In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions--ranging from diabetic foot care to biomechanical assessments and skin/nail disorders. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide both conservative and advanced treatment solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Practice full scope as per the
College of Chiropodists of Ontario
standards.
Assess, diagnose, and treat various foot conditions including:
Diabetic foot care
Routine and advanced nail care
Biomechanical evaluations
Custom orthotics casting and dispensing
Wound care
Compression stocking measurements
Procedures such as PNA/TNA and soft tissue lesion excision
Educate patients and healthcare teams on foot health and preventive care in both individual and group settings.
Participate in quality improvement and health promotion initiatives.
Ensure adherence to
IPAC protocols
and reprocess instruments daily.
Maintain and manage chiropody inventory and clinical supplies.
Document patient care accurately and contribute to data collection efforts.
Perform cross-functional duties as needed, in line with professional scope.
Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized
Chiropody or Podiatric Medicine
program.
Registered and in good standing with the
College of Chiropodists of Ontario
(COCOO).
Demonstrated ability to assess, fit, and prescribe custom orthotics.
OSC and CFPM
membership and certification preferred.
Up-to-date immunizations.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills.
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience working with diverse, low-income, multi-lingual, and multi-racial communities.
Knowledge of adult education principles and group facilitation.
Proficiency with computers and openness to learning new technologies.
Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
