Chiropodist

to join our team on a

bi-weekly basis (one day every two weeks)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Chiropodist

to provide foot and lower limb care to patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable, and able to work independently while aligning with our clinic's patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions Perform routine foot care, including nail trimming, callus and corn removal Treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, warts, bunions, diabetic foot complications, and heel pain Provide custom orthotic assessments, casting, and fittings Educate patients on foot health, footwear, and preventative care Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and treatment areas meet infection control standards

Requirements:

Registration in good standing with the

College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO)

Professional liability insurance Experience in private practice or multidisciplinary clinic preferred Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as a contractor Familiarity with electronic charting systems
