Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chimney Sweep / Technician to join our team.

This role involves using specialized equipment to perform diagnostics and provide insight to the end customer.

Must be physically fit and able to lift more than 50 pounds unassisted.

Comfort with working at heights is an asset.

This position involves a high degree of customer service and attention to details.

The Chimney Sweep will work closely with customers and the office to provide exceptional service and maintain high-quality standards in all repairs.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to perform diagnostic tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as required if needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests while maintaining quality standards. Ensuring safety practices are followed including Fall Arrest Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients . Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in chimney and woodstove repair.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. A valid driver's license is required for this position and clean criminal record check. Knowledge or interest in the WETT program considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
