We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Supervisor (Director) to lead our child care program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. As the Program Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the program, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.
Duties
Manage daily operations, including scheduling, effectively and efficiently under licensing regulations and the program plan.
Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Monitor the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as needed.
Board Support & Organization of staff meetings, training sessions, and family events to enhance community involvement.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents/caregivers, staff and the community to promote engagement and support.
Requirements
Level 3 Early Childhood Certificate
Proven experience in administrative roles within child care or educational settings.
Strong skills in supervising staff and program management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of early childhood education.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure that children are supervised and safe at all times.
Current CPR and First Aid Certificates or willing to obtain
Provide Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector search dated no earlier than 1 week prior to start of employment
