Job Description
The following minimum qualifications are required:
- Emergency First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of commencement of employment
- Produce a criminal records and vulnerable sector check report upon hiring
- Experience working with Autism is an asset
- Work one-on-one with child with special needs
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their child's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including social media and personal discussions.
- Looking after the health and safety of the child, and ensuring proper hygiene
- Cleaning of toys and rooms on a regular basis
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Summerside, PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
