Little Roots Learning Centre is a daycare & preschool that opened up in 2019. We offer a unique family environment with our staff and children.

Our philosophy:

We believe each child is unique and wonderfully designed. We do not take our job lightly because daycare/preschool is likely the child's first experience with a teacher. We aim to create an environment where they feel loved and safe.

We are located in a church and although we are not affiliated with the church, we run our business because we believe this is where God called us to do. We welcome others from different religious backgrounds, however, we also want to be open that although we are not a Christian daycare, our philosophy is based on our faith.

What we look for in our staff:

-Genuinely wants to be around children and wants to connect with each individual child

- Eager to improve programming to better serve the children

- Collaborative with other employees and willing to help out with coverage and work together as a team.

Job details:

- We are hiring for either our jr. preschool class (2 years - 3 years).

- Full-time/part-time hours are available

- You will consistently be with your class throughout the day (6-8 kids). Your class will rotate through different classrooms and you will get to build a strong relationship with these kids.

- We offer two paid 30-minute breaks for our full-time staff each day. We believe a well-rested staff functions best

- We offer 2 weeks vacation and 5 sick days per year. Vacation days are increased after first year of employment.
