Full-time Responsibilities include:
To work as part of a team in a residential program
Supervision and monitoring of clients
Teach Functional living skills
Behaviour Management
Assist clients with daily routines and personal care
Plan/ Implement individualized programs that encompass a person-centred approach
Provide community orienteering and leisure activities
Conduct appointments
Administer medication
Data collection and documentation
Shared responsibility for household tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Participate in all scheduled staff training programs
Hours of work are based on a schedule that includes weekends and evenings
Qualifications/Experience:
Post-secondary certificate in CYW, DSW, SSW, or equivalent and/or related University degree/ experience
Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges
CPI training an asset
Good team building skills
Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written)
Good organization and time management skills
Driver's License an asset to assist with appointments, community programming, etc
