CHILD & YOUTH WORKER
Our client is a 13-year-old girl with ODD, Autism and Diabetes, living in Manotick. She is currently looking for a caregiver to implement her behavioural support plan, encourage her to engage in meaningful activities and practice emotional regulation strategies. Our clients' interests include being on her iPad, spending times with friends and arts and crafts!

You would be the ideal candidate if you have experience working with behaviours and you have a valid ASIST or NVCI certification.

HOURS:
24/7 care 7 days a week. Overnights are awake shifts.

RATE OF PAY:
$25/hr

Requirements

• Valid First Aid and CPR Standard Level "C" certification
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)

Assets

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• University and/or College education in a related field
• Driver's License "G" class with access to a reliable vehicle
• CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI training (current certification)

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Child and Youth Support Workers. In this role, you'll be working with children and youth in the community living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, varying mental illnesses, and behavioural challenges.
