Kids3 Daycare Lacombe is a new childcare center in Lacombe, dedicated to nurturing children's growth through the Reggio Emilia approach and Emergent Curriculum. Our mission is to create a supportive and engaging environment for children aged 0-12 years, fostering collaboration among staff, parents, and the community.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Care Director to join our team at Kids3 Daycare in Lacombe. This permanent full-time position plays a vital role in managing our childcare services in accordance with 'The Child Care Act' and regulations, ensuring quality care and development for our children.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the daycare center while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations. Manage and support a team of approximately 20-22 permanent staff members. Act as a liaison between staff, parents, and the community to foster positive relationships. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's developmental growth. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care. Conduct regular assessments of children's developmental levels. Uphold accreditation standards and maintain daycare supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. At least three years of experience in a childcare setting, preferably as a Director. First Aid/CPR certification is required. Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search prior to start date. Knowledge of licensing regulations related to childcare.
